The Stonecrest team had the great pleasure of pitching in to help members of our local community by doing some volunteer work at Second Harvest of Silicon Valley. The work involves breaking down large quantities of food and sorting it into smaller packages to be delivered to those in need. It’s crucial work, and if you go in as a team, it is actually a lot of fun too!
The Mission of Second Harvest: “to end hunger in our community. Our volunteers, donors and supporters help us provide food to families, multi-generational households, seniors and college students. We offer more than just nourishment, we are helping people in our own community feel a little more secure and find joy in the pleasure of cooking and sharing a meal with loved ones.”
