We originally anticipated liquidating all of the assets in SRF by the end of 2019. Unfortunately, there are a number of larger assets that we could not sell yet; are caught up in the foreclosure/bankruptcy process or tied up in escrows that have yet to close. We are working diligently to resolve these assets as expeditiously as possible.
With this distribution, all investors will have received approximately 70% of their total current capital account balance. The remaining capital balance, will be forwarded in tranches as enough proceeds have been accumulated to justify a distribution. The final return for the fund will be determined after all assets have been liquidated.
Though the fund is officially ended and we will not be purchasing any new assets, there will be a K-1 issued for 2020 to reflect the resolution of SRF’s last remaining assets.
